RealTime eClinical Solutions Rebrand: A New Look, A Renewed Mission
This year marked a pivotal moment in our journey with the rebranding of RealTime eClinical Solutions. Formerly known as RealTime Software Solutions, we refreshed our identity to reflect the evolution of our company and our role as leaders in the clinical research industry, officially bringing the skills and talents of RealTime, Complion, and Devana Solutions under a single identity. The updated brand better aligns with our complete product suite and our mission to provide comprehensive, cutting-edge eClinical solutions that powers better research, better business, and better outcomes for clinical research sites. Just think of us as your “e” for everything in clinical trial technology.
Our comprehensive eClinical suite connects people, processes and data like never before, from trial award to study start up, trial execution, all the way to submission. We don’t just deliver ‘digital.’ We help people and technology work together, enabling modernized and more effective clinical approaches to clinical trial site management. To date, we’re trusted by over 3,000 clinical research sites across 55 countries. This includes nine of the top 10 site networks in the industry. 2024 was a landmark year for product development at RealTime. Our eClinical suite underwent significant enhancements, all aimed at improving efficiency, streamlining workflows, and delivering exceptional outcomes for research sites, AMCs, sponsors, and CROs. Among the most notable advancements were upgraded eSource functionality, innovative new features in CTMS and eReg/eISF, including continuous system tune-ups, and the exceptional performance of Devana as they continue to be the gold-standard for large research site networks looking to improve efficiency and visibility into their business.
The Expansion of Professional Services
This year, we proudly announced the expansion of RealTime’s Professional Services, a white-glove service designed to help sites maximize their software investment. From tailored onboarding to customized workflow training, this service empowers sites to master your tools and realize your research vision. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with sites reporting faster adoption rates and smoother transitions.

One site even achieved an impressive 160% boost in patient recruitment using our products. Highlights of our collaborative efforts also included supporting impactful initiatives like the ACRP Ride4DEI, which raised awareness for diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical trials. We were also honored to contribute to meaningful causes through donations to the Greater Gift and the Oliver Patch Project, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive difference within and beyond the clinical research community.
Celebrating Team Growth
This year, we welcomed two seasoned senior leaders whose expertise has been instrumental in building on RealTime’s product suite: Allan Hakky, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Keith Howells, Executive Vice President of Product Management. Under Allan’s leadership, we’ve already made significant strides in strengthening the performance of our eClinical solutions, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. Together, Allan and Keith are building on our strong foundation for RealTime’s continued success, keeping our products robust, scalable, and adaptable to your needs.
What Lies Ahead in 2025
Innovation is in our lifeblood, and our core value, #InnovationNow, will continue to guide us as we step into 2025. In the coming year, we will expand our Site Operations Management System (SOMS), introducing advanced capabilities that boost efficiency, control, and operational excellence. Our CTMS and eSource solutions are set for significant advancements that will simplify workflows and usability, while our eReg/eISF platforms will be further refined with new features that do even more to support site success. RealTime-Devana is also slated to deliver even deeper data insights and competitive benchmark performance tracking, helping sites and sponsors align more effectively. Additionally, we will continue to innovate across our patient engagement tools, launching new capabilities that will increase participant involvement and improve overall trial success.
